Our program provides a comprehensive soccer development experience for young players, focusing on skill-building, confidence, and game awareness in a fun and structured environment.


Program Details:

  • Offered Year-Round: 7 sessions per year (Fall 1, Fall 2, Winter 1, Winter 2, Spring 1, Summer 1, and Summer 2)
  • Ages: U5-U11 (Birth Years 2020-2013 for the 2023-24 season)
  • Coach-to-Player Ratio: 1:12
  • Professional Coaching Staff


Games & Practices:

  • 1 practice per week during the season
  • 1 game per week during the season (Saturday's between 8:30-11:30AM) No travel required
  • Potential advancement to Premier club travel teams


Uniform & Registration:

One-time uniform purchase: $80 (due upon entry into the program, payable via check to CSA or cash at the first practice)

💡OUR PHILOSOPHY


The players need to have fun and love the game first and CSA staff have the experience and techniques to get the effort out of each player. Once this is accomplished, confidence starts appearing in each player. Players will be introduced to technical and tactical components of the game in a fun learning environment. U4-U10 boys and girls are welcome. Players will be separated during practice and games according to skill first, gender second, and age lastly to ensure each child is being challenged but at the same time having success. Players move to CSA Travel Academy after Jr. Academy graduation.

VISION: THE 3 C'S

Creativity

Players will be encouraged to express their creativity by applying skills learned in practice. This approach allows them the freedom to experiment with new techniques and develop confidence with the ball.


Confidence

Professional coaches use positive reinforcement and motivational techniques to help players build confidence. Through on-field corrections and guided discovery questions, coaches will ensure players succeed in learning the game.


Composure

While decision-making is ultimately up to the player, professional coaches will provide guidance and educate them on various strategic options to enhance their game awareness.

CURRICULUM

Practices

Players will participate in a variety of drills focusing on speed and agility, dribbling, ball control, passing, shooting, and 1v1 or 2v2 situations.


Games

Players will engage in small-sided games (3v3, 4v4, 5v5 and 7v7) during both practice and regular game sessions. Over six weeks, they will have the opportunity to play in all positions—including goalkeeper, defense, midfield, and forward—ensuring a well-rounded understanding of the game. The small-sided format maximizes ball touches and supports both technical and physical development.

COACHING STAFF

Coaching

  • Player-to-coach ratio: 1:12
  • Led by coach Flynn, Dejan, Kevin, Vedran & Shon.
  • Our coaching staff consists of licensed, experienced coaches specializing in player development for ages U4-U10.
  • Coaches are trained and mentored to create a motivating, encouraging, and fun learning environment, fostering a love for the game.

  • Soccer ball (size 3-4 recommended)

2021-2022 Player + Parent Jr Academy

Introducing a new addition to the Jr Academy, designed specifically for 2-3 year olds (birth years 2021 & 2022, U3-U4).


In this program, parents will join their child on the field to participate in fun, engaging activities together, fostering early skill development and a love for the game. A professional coach will be present to guide both players and parents through each session.
