What is USL Y? (previously Super Y)

• USL Super Y is a summer league(June-July) that consists of up to 2-3 times per week practices and 6-8 games with a team.
• Games are set up like tournaments with 2-3 games on a single weekend.( only looking to do 1-2 weekends along with 1-2 one off local games as well)
• You must tryout for a spot. Players from any club are able to tryout/participate in this competition without a release from their current clubs.
• Come play for a Regional Super Y team in the summer and practice and play with premier players from the area.
• Regional Champions (u13 and older) advance to USL National Finals in Tampa Bay, FL in December 2023.

SUPER Y PRACTICE SQUAD/TEAM SELECTION PROCESS

Team Selection(AGES 2008-2012): Players/Parents will be contacted after tryout letting you know what direction coaching staff will be taking with your child and what you should expect and plan for. Players will be recommended to continue attending future tryout/practice/scrimmage dates to start familiarizing with teammates, coaches and philosophy. This is a regional league so there is an expectation that players will be available to attend all games played at neutral sites out of state. 

Program consists of 2 practice dates each week along with one additional scrimmage night. All teams will play 6-10 regional league games during the course of the summer season. Cost for the program will be $525 + approximately $90 for uniform kit (if players don't already have items)

Practice Squad Selection(AGES 2008-2012): Players/Parents will be contacted after tryouts letting you know about your child being selected as a practice squad player for now. Players will be recommended to continue attending future tryout/practice/scrimmage dates. These extra practices may make the difference in making Super Y Team on a later date. Practice players are eligible to play in summer league games if coaches see fit. PLEASE SEE THIS AS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR YOUR CHILD AND NOT AS SECOND TIER. THE PRACTICES ARE WHAT IS IMPORTANT IN THE END SO YOUR CHILD CAN IMPROVE OVER THE SUMMER MONTHS. Program consists of 2 practices each week along with (one scrimmage night for 2005-2011 only). Cost will be $325 for U7-U16 practice players.
